Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN) - Washington, NC

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Telemetry or Step-Down unit
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and the recognition of dysrhythmias
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients with cardiac conditions, identifying changes in rhythm and status
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders and best practices
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on cardiac care and recovery
• Respond quickly and effectively to emergent situations, ensuring patient safety at all times

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
