Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN) - Webster, NY

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure in good standing
• Previous experience in a telemetry or progressive care environment
• Strong assessment and cardiac monitoring skills
• Proficient in interpreting EKG rhythms and promptly responding to emergent changes
• Ability to document accurately and efficiently using electronic medical records
• Compassionate communication style and effective teamwork abilities
• BLS and ACLS certifications (active and up to date)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Continuously monitor patients’ cardiac status, recognizing changes quickly and acting as necessary
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and provide interventions as outlined by care plans
• Perform thorough patient assessments, document findings, and communicate updates to interdisciplinary teams
• Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and recovery pathways
• Support physicians during rounds and execute orders as directed
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols, hospital policies, and infection control standards
