Step into a dynamic Telemetry nursing role where your expertise is valued in a fast-paced, supportive environment. This contract position offers a 13-week assignment providing comprehensive care to patients on a Telemetry unit, ensuring their safety and well-being during their hospital stay.
Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts, 7:00pm to 7:00am
- Alternating weeks: 36 or 48 hours
- Staffing is evaluated every 4 hours
- Flexibility to float up to three times per shift may be needed
Qualifications:
- Current Rhode Island RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Prior experience in Telemetry and acute hospital settings as a Telemetry RN is strongly preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a union facility following established staffing protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized care to adult patients with cardiac monitoring needs
- Assess patient conditions and respond swiftly to changes, including monitoring telemetric data
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate quality care
- Administer medications, treatments, and implement care plans as directed by providers
- Floating per union contract requirements, ensuring coverage and support throughout the unit as needed

$3,124 - $3,101/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 48 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
