Bluffton, SC: School SLP

Calling on SLPs (Clinical fellows too!) who want to live and work in the area of Hilton Head Island, SC. Soliant is working with the local school to fill contract Speech-Language Pathologist positions.

We seek applicants with the following core competencies:

• Solid problem solving skills: be curious, ask questions, and think your way around a problem
• Flexibility: manage shifting priorities and uncertainties
• Good written and verbal communication skills. Students, staff and parents depend on you to treat, coach and educate them
• Organization skills: maintain accurate records and create a system for sharing information with others
• Up-to-date knowledge of speech and language disorders, therapy or activities for school children, and Special Education procedures in a public school setting

Current caseload assignments include 1 elementary, 1 position that is 80% Middle School and 20% elementary school,  and 1 position split between Middle and High School. 

Education and license requirements:

• Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
• South Carolina license in Speech-Language Pathology 
• South Carolina Education Certificate as an SLP
