Cath Lab RN Adults Learn Peds and Electrophysiology

Portland, OR – I am actively hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN for the Portland, OR area.  This is a unique opportunity for either the versatile nurse or for the nurse who wishes to become versatile.

This is a unique job opportunity for a 13 week contract available for the right Cath Lab RN.  The ideal nurse is experienced in both Adult & Pediatric Cath as well as familiar with electrophysiology lab procedures.  The nurse who does not have pediatric Cath or EP can have opportunities to learn on the job.

DETAILS:

• Portland, OR
• 13 Weeks, Plus Extension if desired
• 4x10 hour shifts
• Call expectations include once per week and rotating weekend

SKILLS DESIRED

• Cardiac Cath – A minimum of 2 years of experience is required for this job (ask me about others if you don’t quite make the cut here)
• Strong STEMI call experience
• Ability to assess and monitor Cardiac Catherization, ICD placement, Cardioversion, and Ablation patients (Candidates do not need any EP experience for consideration!)
• NOT DEAL-BREAKER, CAN LEARN ON JOB:  Pediatric Cath

CREDENTIALING REQUIREMENTS

• ACLS, BLS
• Oregon License (will potentially wait for a pending license depending on time)
