Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room (ER), including triage, assessment, treatment, and discharge planning for patients with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure timely interventions and responses to emergent situations.
• Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and assist with procedures as needed, following evidence-based practice guidelines and clinical protocols.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols, infection control procedures, and regulatory standards to maintain a safe and efficient emergency care environment.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania (or compact state) with at least two years of recent ER experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; TNCC certification preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing situations in a fast-paced environment.
