Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Location: Bricktown, NJ

Shift: Nights

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an ER RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, effective communication abilities, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities:

1. Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the emergency room setting.
2. Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
3. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
4. Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs and symptoms.
5. Responding efficiently to medical emergencies and providing immediate interventions as necessary.
6. Educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.
7. Maintaining accurate and thorough patient records.
8. Adhering to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.
9. Participating in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in emergency medicine.

Qualifications:

1. Valid RN license in the state of New Jersey.
2. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
3. Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an RN in an emergency room setting.
4. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
7. Flexibility to work night shifts and weekends as needed.
8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.
