We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for a local School District in Anoka, Minnesota for the school year. If you are a compassionate and experienced SPED teacher looking to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Teach, work with students, paraprofessionals, families, other staff, take data.
• Update IEP goals, assess students and write up the assessment report.
• Write IEPs, attend IEP meetings, present the assessment results.  

Job Details:

• Position: Special Education Teacher 
• Start Date: New School Year Position- 08/26/2024-06/06/2025
• Location: Anoka, Minnesota
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week
• Caseload:  Middle/ High School Aged Students

 Qualifications:

• Experience in the following preferred:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education
• Minnesota Teaching Certification 
• Previous experience in a SPED role is preferred
• Familiar with IEP's
