Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Location: Grand Junction, CO

Shift: Night Shift - 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts a week

On-Call Requirements: Rotating on-call for low census shifts with permanent staff

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute patient care plans based on thorough patient assessments to optimize outcomes and utilize available resources efficiently.
   
2. Monitor, document, and communicate patient condition effectively and appropriately.

3. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and addressing spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

4. Assess the learning needs of patients and/or their families and deliver tailored education considering factors such as age, culture, condition, and circumstances.

5. Delegate patient care tasks to ancillary staff proficiently. May provide guidance and precept new hires and student nurses.

6. Demonstrate critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work autonomously within the scope of the job. Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and taking prompt, appropriate action as needed.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (or equivalent).

2. Active and unrestricted licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.

3. Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience.

4. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.

5. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire.

6. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.

7. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification within 1 year of hire.
