Our team is looking for an Intervention Specialist! As a School Intervention Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing targeted support to students with diverse learning needs. Your primary responsibility will be to implement and oversee intervention strategies that promote academic progress and social-emotional development. Working closely with educators, administrators, and families, you will contribute to the creation of individualized intervention plans and monitor student progress to ensure positive outcomes.

Location: Springfield City, Ohio

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to meet the unique needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate intervention strategies into the classroom environment.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in small group or one-on-one settings.
• Utilize data-driven approaches to assess student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and solicit input for intervention planning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Valid Ohio Intervention Specialist certification.
• Proven experience in implementing intervention strategies for students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong understanding of various instructional methodologies and assessment techniques.
