I am working with a nurse manager in Louisville seeking to hire a med surg nurse traveler for a 13 week assignment! 

The hospital seeks to hire someone immediately for this role with a start date 2-4 weeks from job offer.

Job Description and Keys to Know:

• Shift: 7P - 7A
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Hours:  Every other weekend or Every third
• Call Requirements: N/A
• Required Certifications: Nursing license, BLS & NIH
• Years of Experience: 2+ years
• Float Requirements: None!

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 26
• Patient Ratios: 1:4 or 1:5 (Days) 1:5 or 1:6 (Nights), Rarely 1:6
• Equipment: Dinamap , Telemetry, Bed scales, Sigma IV pump, Kpads, wound vacs, epidural pumps,

• EMR: Cerner

Desired traits: 

• Must Have Skills/Experience: Solid Nursing and Assessment skills, Telemetry
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: N/A
• Type of Patients on Unit: Trauma and Mixed Acuity
• Best Personality Fit: Team player with passion for patient care
