**Job Description:**

Soliant Health is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for the Med Surg unit in Lafayette, Louisiana. As a Med Surg RN, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted to the medical-surgical unit. **Responsibilities:**
- Perform thorough assessments of patients' health status and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their medical conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.

**Requirements:**
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience working in a medical-surgical unit.
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required; ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
