Job Description:
We are currently seeking a qualified PICU RN to join our team in New Brunswick, NJ. This position is offered as a 13-week contract with an ASAP start date. The selected candidate must be available to start on any day of the week.

Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Stepdown units
- Float down to NICU, PEDS, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology units for appropriate assignments
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using the EPIC charting system
- Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
- Attend to patients' needs promptly and efficiently
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities to the appropriate medical personnel
- Work night shifts on a 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30)

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Valid RN license in the state of New Jersey
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in PICU nursing
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly and efficiently
- Flexibility to work holidays and weekends as needed
- Must be willing to float to various units within the hospital
- Scrub color: Navy
