Job Description:
Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, Operating Room, and in accordance with established organizational and departmental policies and procedures, the RNFA is responsible for assisting the surgeon in a lead role until the conclusion of the operative procedure. 

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room) certifications are required.
- Completion of an RN First Assisting course conforming to the Core Curriculum set forth by AORN (Association of periOperative Registered Nurses).
- Minimum of five (5) years of diversified perioperative nursing experience with proficiency in both scrubbing and circulating.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA (American Heart Association) or American Red Cross.
