Calling on SLPs who want to help children with complex needs! Soliant is working with an education community in New Haven, CT, and we're seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to work with elementary and middle school students.
The caseload consists of children with social, emotional, and behavioral disabilities; many of whom have experienced trauma that affects their education experience.
We seek applicants with the following core competencies:
- Solid problem solving skills
- Flexibility: manage shifting priorities
- Good written and verbal communication skills. Students, staff and parents depend on you to treat, coach and educate them
Additional details will be shared in a direct interview with a school administrator, after an intial phone screening with Soliant.
Education and license requirements:
- Master's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
- Connecticut license in Speech-Language Pathology
- Applicants may also need a Connecticut Department of Education certificate to practice speech therapy in an education setting
