School-based Speech-Language Pathologist (Autism expertise), Richmond, IL

Soliant is working with a small K-8 school district near Richmond, IL and is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the school year.

The applicant will be working with K-3 students in a self-contained ASD classroom. It is essential that applicants have prior experience supporting students with significant needs in learning, communication, and adaptive functioning.

Details of position:

• Full-time 
• School hours are from 7:20 AM to 3 PM
• Start: ideal start is within 2 weeks (or less) of job offer
• End: end of school year

Scope of responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy in line with student IEP goals
• Evaluate students referred for speech services; re-evaluate students and report progress in IEP
• Collaborate with parents and special education team to develop speech and language goals
