School Psychologist near Dixon, Illinois

Caseload: Approximately 50 students

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments
• Determine eligibility for special education services
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop appropriate interventions and support plans
• Provide counseling and support services to students as needed
• Assist in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 plans

Campus: Itinerant between two campuses within walking distance (share a parking lot)

District Information:

• Small rural district
• Approximately 800 students district-wide
• Low volume of referrals throughout the year

Qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in School Psychology
• Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience working in a school setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
