Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in the New Britain, CT area for the 2024-25 school year. This position is full-time, onsite, and involves working with K-12 students. We offer weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and guaranteed hours with all of our full-time positions! 
 

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results for students and participate in IEP conferences, team meetings, and problem-solving meetings
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy per IEP requirements
  • Monitor completion of case study evaluations and participate in IEP conferences and problem solving meetings
  • Facilitate socioemotional evaluations for students as needed. 
  • Write Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) 
  • Develop Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) 
  • Lead crisis intervention efforts and provide insight into the development of functional assessments and behavior intervention plans
  • Integrate psychological services into the classroom environment as appropriate

 

What We're Looking For:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. 
  • Valid Connecticut School Psychologist license required 
  • Experience working in schools preferred 
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
