School Levels: Elementary, Middle School, High School

Hours per Week: 37.5 (7.5 hours per day)

August 5, 2024 - May 29, 2025

Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana Teaching License
• Onsite presence required (No virtual teaching at this time)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team in Frankfort, Indiana. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in either elementary, middle, or high school levels.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities
• Provide direct instruction in academic subjects, social skills, and life skills
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and other support staff to ensure the needs of students with disabilities are met
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student performance and progress
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and individualized goals

Caseloads:

• Elementary: 15-20 students
• Middle School: 20-30 students
• High School: 20-30 students
