**Description:**

Soliant Education is currently seeking a certified Special Education Teacher for the Extended School Year (ESY) program in the Edina, MN area. This temporary position offers the opportunity to work with students with diverse learning needs during the summer months, providing valuable educational support and services. **Responsibilities:**

- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs participating in the ESY program.
- Provide direct instruction and support to students, adapting teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to address the unique needs of each student.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed to ensure academic growth.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment that fosters student engagement and success.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and behavior.

**Requirements:**

- Minnesota teaching certification in Special Education.
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
- Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
