Are you a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students with severe intellectual disabilities? Our school in Rock Hill, South Carolina is seeking a qualified educator to join our team for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with severe intellectual disabilities.
  • Provide instruction and support tailored to the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting instruction as needed to ensure academic and developmental growth.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with students with severe intellectual disabilities preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive education to all students.

Additional Information:

  • This position is onsite only.
  • Certification in South Carolina is required.
