• Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to the unique learning styles and needs of students.
• Providing direct instruction and support to students with disabilities in various subject areas, ensuring access to the general education curriculum.
• Collaborating with general education teachers, related service providers, and parents to facilitate student success in an inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitoring and assessing student progress, adjusting instruction and interventions as needed to meet individual learning goals.
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of student progress and participation in accordance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid teaching license/certification in Special Education in the state of Virginia.
• Previous experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
