Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction to students in various academic subjects, tailored to their individual learning needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the successful inclusion of students with disabilities in the school community.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed to promote academic growth and achievement.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of student progress and services provided.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid State teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• At least one year of recent experience working as a Special Education Teacher.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students with disabilities.
