Job Title: Special Education Teacher (SPED)

Location: Wyoming, DE

Job Description: Soliant is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher (SPED) to join our team in Wyoming, DE. The SPED Teacher will provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative and inclusive educational setting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students
• Deliver differentiated instruction and accommodations to support diverse learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including general education teachers, therapists, and parents to optimize student success
• Conduct ongoing assessments, monitor student progress, and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic and social-emotional growth
• Employ evidence-based instructional practices and interventions to engage students and facilitate meaningful learning experiences

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
• Delaware state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Special Education Teacher
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet individual student needs and promote positive outcomes

State Licensure Requirements:

• Candidates for the Special Education Teacher (SPED) position in Wyoming, DE, must hold or be eligible for licensure as a Special Education Teacher in the state of Delaware.
