We are seeking dedicated and passionate Special Education Teachers to join our team for the upcoming 24-25 school year. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing support and instruction to students with diverse learning needs.

Position Details:

• Inclusion Classroom Setting, Grades K-2: Work collaboratively with general education teachers to provide support and accommodations for students with special needs in grades K-2.
• Inclusion Classroom Setting, Grades 3-4: Collaborate with general education teachers to create inclusive learning environments for students with special needs in grades 3-4.
• Inclusion Classroom Setting, Grades 5-6: Support students with special needs in grades 5-6 within inclusive classroom settings, fostering an environment conducive to learning and growth.
• Inclusion Classroom Setting, Grades 7-8: Provide support and accommodations for students with special needs in grades 7-8, working alongside general education teachers to ensure student success.
• Resource Classroom Setting, Grades 7-8: Lead resource classroom sessions for students in grades 7-8, delivering targeted instruction and support tailored to individual student needs.
• Resource Classroom Setting, Grades 5-7: Conduct resource classroom sessions for students in grades 5-7, implementing specialized instruction and interventions to promote academic progress.
• Self-contained Classroom Setting, Grades 5-8: Manage a self-contained classroom for students in grades 5-8 with significant learning needs, designing and implementing individualized educational programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Valid state teaching certification in Special Education
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students
• Knowledge of best practices in special education and inclusionary practices
