Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide specialized instruction and support to students in various academic and behavioral areas.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and parents to create inclusive learning environments that meet the diverse needs of all students.
• Use evidence-based practices and differentiated instruction to address students' unique learning styles and abilities.
• Monitor and track student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed to promote academic and social-emotional growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license/certification in Special Education from the state of Nebraska.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience working as a Special Education Teacher.
• Knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities.
