Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist with a specific focus on neurosurgery to join our team in Kearney, Nebraska. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of excellence in neurosurgical procedures and possess the necessary certifications and experience to excel in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Independently perform cranial procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Demonstrate proficiency in neuro-trauma situations, including the ability to score 3s on relevant assessments.
- Scrub into surgeries with neurosurgery focus, ensuring proper equipment and instrumentation setup.
- Provide support during neurosurgical procedures, anticipating surgeon's needs and maintaining a sterile field.
- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in rotating call schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to provide on-call coverage for neurosurgery cases.
- Flexibility to float and work in other surgical specialties when needed, maintaining a willingness to adapt to changing schedules and shifts.
- Heavy orthopedic experience is preferred, with exposure to spine surgeries being advantageous.
- Previous experience with total joint replacements and level II trauma cases is highly desirable.

Requirements:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification is mandatory.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Demonstrated experience in neurosurgical procedures, including cranial surgeries and trauma cases.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative surgical team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to accommodate rotating call schedules and varying shift requirements.
- Previous experience with heavy orthopedic cases and spine surgeries is preferred.
