Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists with experience in public school settings, and who want to delve into the world of remote Speech Therapy! Soliant is working with an Indiana school district, and need the support of a remote SLP.
Summary of duties:
The District needs coverage with elementary, middle, and high school students. Ideally, we seek a therapist who can work with middle school students and support initial evaluations, and switch to elementary school coverage once evaluations are caught up. We are open to exploring all possibilities.
Requirements:
- Indiana SLP license from both the Department of Health and Department of Education
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (Our remote services model does not provide supervisory support for Clinical Fellows)
- 2 years of on-site experience in schools highly preferred
- Some knowledge of remote therapy model
- Technology skills
- Intermediate knowledge of Zoom and its capabilities;
- Ability to use IEP software
- Familiarity with MS Office, Google Docs, and PDF editing software
- Working knowledge of online assessment tests and therapy activities
Details of assignment:
- Full- or part-time applicants welcome
- Caseload of K-12 students--reasonable accommodations will be made for candidates' therapy preferences
- Responsible for both direct therapy sessions, and case management for speech only students
