An opportunity is available now! Soliant is now staffing Radiation Oncology RN's for a hospital/ health center in Peoria, Illinois.

This position has day shifts available for 13 weeks, with a requirement to work 40 hours (5 8's) per scheduled week.

Shift/Qualification Requirements:

  • Shift: Day Shifts, 40 hour work week. 8am start.
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks, with probable extension.
  • Required Certificates: BLS, ACLS, Chemo Certification required.
  • IL State License and/or Compact License.
  • 2+ Years of experience required.
  • May be required to float to similar units.

An Oncology Nurse is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing an individualized plan of care that promotes quality of life and maximizes functional abilities. Oncology nurses play a significant part in the health care team, as they work in all aspects of cancer treatment and care. 

Oncology nurses integrate their technical skills, scientific knowledge, and caring attitude to aid those living with cancer, including their families – starting from diagnosis, treatment, then survivorship to end-of-life care.
