**Job Description:**  
The Traveling Med-Surg Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the general, orthopedic, neurology, and spine units. This assignment will entail twelve-hour shifts, offering flexibility in scheduling. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering compassionate patient care.

**Requirements:**
- Valid RN license
- Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and unit dynamics

**Responsibilities:**
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, medication administration, and wound care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments and interventions
