Soliant is currently seeking an Autism Spectrum Disorder Teacher for a contracted position near the Wayne, MI area for the 2023-2024 school year.

• Program Type: Center Based Program
• Teaching Style: Self-contained with an emphasis on fostering inclusion opportunities for students.
• Caseload: Maximum of 7 students, supported by paraprofessionals and social workers.
• Contract Duration: ASAP - June 7, 2024

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science or Arts in Special Education with an endorsement.
• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) certification.
• Knowledge of Common Core Standards.
• Competency in administering and interpreting academic testing.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with students, peers, parents, and the community.
• Strong communication skills.
• Certification in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), or willingness to obtain and maintain yearly.
