Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists based in the area of San Leandro, CA, and who enjoy working with middle school students! Soliant has partnered with a local school district and is seeking a contract Speech-Language Pathologist to finish out the school year.
 
Additional information about the District, and the building assignments, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • California Speech-Language Pathology License


As a school-based SLP, you will:

  • Assess students and update IEP (Individual Education Plan) goals as part of the evaluation and re-evaluation process
  • Recommend students for dismissal if they have attained their communication goals
  • Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
  • Provide reports of a student’s progress to parents.
  • Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
  • Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
