School-Based Occupational Therapist (OT)

Location: Socorro, New Mexico

Position Overview: Seeking an OT to assess, diagnose, and address sensory, motor, and developmental challenges in students, promoting their academic success and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and address sensory, motor, and developmental issues affecting students' school activities.
• Develop intervention plans in collaboration with school staff to meet students' needs.
• Provide therapy focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with educators and parents to integrate therapy goals into the classroom and home.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and progress notes.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
