Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for a contract position in Massachusetts. The ideal candidate will provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and state regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address students' communication challenges.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Stay informed about current research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current state licensure as an SLP in Massachusetts.
- Clearance for working with children as required by state regulations.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred but not required.
