Remote Speech Language Pathologist job in Utah

Position Type: Full-time, 1099 contract

Duration: May and September - October, covering a short term leave 

Hours: 40 hours per week

Caseload: Middle School


  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
  • Write comprehensive assessment reports and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver speech and language therapy services remotely to middle school students.
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and goals.
  • Provide consultations to teachers and support staff regarding students' communication needs.
  • Write and update IEPs in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and services provided.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and teachers regarding students' progress and recommended strategies for support.


  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communications.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Valid Utah state SLP license and active license in state of residence.
  • Previous experience working with a middle school caseload preferred.
  • Proficient in conducting remote assessments and delivering teletherapy services.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a remote team.
  • 2 years of previous schools-based experience
  • Computer, webcam, and basic technology knowledge
  • Must be able to pass a technical screening and internet speed test
  • Liability insurance; 500K/500K coverage annually
