Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC)

Position Overview: As a contract SLP, you will play a crucial role in supporting the communication and language development of students. This rewarding position involves collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the curriculum
  • Conduct screenings and participate in the identification and referral process for students with communication challenges
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
  • CA SLP Licensure
  • Passion for working with children and promoting positive communication skills
