Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (CFY)

Location: San Jose, CA 

Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (CFY) to join our dynamic team for the second semester of the academic year in San Jose area. We have multiple locations to pick from throughout the city. This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to work with an elementary caseload under the supervision of experienced and supportive professionals. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive speech and language services to students while gaining valuable clinical experience. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in elementary school students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to support students' overall academic success
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, progress notes, and treatment plans
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of service delivery

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Experience or coursework in pediatric speech and language disorders
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Supervision: The CFY will receive ongoing supervision from a licensed and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to meet ASHA requirements. This supervision will provide support, guidance, and mentorship throughout the CFY experience.
