Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (CFY) to join our dynamic team for the second semester of the academic year in South Tucson, AZ. This temporary position offers a unique opportunity to work with an elementary caseload under the supervision of experienced and supportive professionals. Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders in elementary school students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to support students' overall academic success.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, progress notes, and treatment plans.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards in all aspects of service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Eligibility for or possession of a current state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and eligibility for ASHA certification.
- Experience or coursework in pediatric speech and language disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Supervision: The CFY will receive ongoing supervision from a licensed and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to meet ASHA requirements. This supervision will provide support, guidance, and mentorship throughout the CFY experience.
