Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Soliant is committed to providing exceptional educational services to students in Baytown, TX. We are currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team on a school-based contract basis.

Position Overview: As an SLPA, you will play a vital role in supporting the speech-language therapy needs of our students. Working closely with our Speech-Language Pathologists and other educational professionals, you will contribute to the development and implementation of therapy plans to enhance communication skills and overall academic success.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting assessments and screenings under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Implement individual or group therapy sessions based on established treatment plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to support the integration of therapy goals into the educational environment.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of student progress and therapy sessions.
• Provide support in the preparation of materials for therapy activities.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or related field.
• Valid Texas state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Enthusiasm for working with students to promote their communication development.

Contract Details:

• Contract duration: Remainder of the school year.
• Full-time position with competitive compensation.
