As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team for the upcoming school year in Aberdeen, WA.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, teachers, and other educational professionals to support students with communication disorders.
  • Implement individualized therapy plans designed by speech-language pathologists to address students' speech and language goals.
  • Conduct therapy sessions with students both individually and in small groups, under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
  • Assist in conducting screenings, assessments, and progress monitoring of students' speech and language skills.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings preferred.
  • Knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and therapeutic techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
