Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose communication and speech disorders in elementary and middle school students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' academic success.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment plans.
  • Stay current with best practices and research in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • New York state license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
