Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of students? Soliant Health is currently seeking an SLP to join a school district in Buena Vista, VA, for the upcoming school year. This is a part-time, onsite position that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and therapy services to students in the school district.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct regular progress monitoring and make adjustments to intervention strategies as necessary.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input for students' educational plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid license to practice Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Virginia.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
  • Experience working in a school or pediatric setting is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
