Position Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our virtual team on a contracted basis. As a Virtual Contracted SLP, you will be responsible for providing remote speech therapy services to clients while ensuring a high standard of care. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to adapt to virtual platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to determine speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for clients using evidence-based practices.
- Provide virtual therapy sessions to clients, utilizing telehealth platforms effectively.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, caregivers, and educators to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Tech-savvy with the ability to pass a tech screen to ensure proficiency in virtual platforms.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a virtual team environment.
Requirements:
- Must obtain liability insurance before starting the contracted position.
- Access to a reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a private, secure work environment.
- Availability to work flexible hours to accommodate client needs.
