Calling on Speech-Language Pathologists who want to ensure that school children receive the appropriate level of support to attain their communication skills! Soliant has partnered with a school in near Sunnyvale, TX and is seeking a contract SLP to focus on evaluations for the remainder of the school year.

Caseload details:

  • K-12 students with mild to severe needs
  • Evaluations only

Additional information about the District, and the building assignment, will be shared in a direct interview with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • Texas Speech-Language Pathology License
  • Familiarity with curriculum and Special Education standards in Texas

 
As a school-based SLP, you will:

  • Assess students referred for possible speech and language needs.
  • Participate in ARD (Admissions, Referral, and Dismissal) meeting to determine student eligibility
  • Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
